...Our new speaker is a woman, Irina Vladimirovna, a history professor at MGU. She is very opinionated and very cool. Her opinions are very different from Yevgeny's.

She was running late today, so when we finished, we ate quickly in the cafeteria, and walked to the metro. Sasha, Abby, and I went to Rus Market for candy. Sasha and I had a good conversation on the train. Her dad used to be a Lutheran minister. We talked about problems in the church. She says she always cheated at confession because the priest was a family friend and it was just too weird.

We rode on a boat down the Moscow River. It was not as grand as we expected. Most of the time we didn't know what we were looking at. It was fun, though; I took a lot of pictures, and riding on the boat was nice.

I came home, ate, made a quick outline of tomorrow's lecture--I hope Abby will approve--and decided to dye my hair. I think I screwed it up, though, so it will probably be shockingly orange tomorrow.

I could do homework, but I don't really want to. Nina said somethign about a huge terrorist attack in London. I will have to check it out.
